I was in 9th grade when I heard Roxanne (by The Police) for the first time. I immediately knew that the man who was rasping out “put on the red light” would be a part of me forever. I wore black on the day that it was officially declared that the Police had split up. By my sophomore year, I had a full-blown infatuation with Sting. My bedroom walls were plastered with his pictures.

I nearly fainted when I heard that he was beginning a solo career. I was hooked! I read everything about him, memorized entire articles. Believed in all he did. Joined Amnesty International, studied Jung, donated money to Greenpeace first, then the Rainforest Foundation. If I learned anything in those years, I owe it to Sting.

Now I’ve grown up a bit and my passion for Sting has somewhat matured. But there are so many things that I could/would like to talk to him about. Plus, let’s face it, he’s 54 and still a hottie!!
